Getting started
- What is a guardian home?
- A guardian cares for a breeder's dog in their own home as a family pet. The dog lives with you full time, and a guardian agreement covers breeding plans, care responsibilities, and what happens at the end of the term.
- How do I sign in?
- Go to the sign-in page and enter the email your breeder used to set you up. We'll email you a secure link, so there's no password to remember. The link works for 20 minutes.
- I was sent an application or signing link. Do I still sign in?
- No. If your breeder emailed you an application or a guardian agreement to sign, open that link directly. Signing in is for returning to your guardian home after you're set up.
Your agreement
- How do I sign my guardian agreement?
- When your breeder sends an agreement, you'll get an email with a link to review and sign it online. After it's signed, it stays available in your guardian home.
- Where can I see the terms I agreed to?
- Sign in and open your placement. Your term length, check-in schedule, cost responsibilities, and other terms are listed there.
Check-ins and records
- What is a check-in?
- A check-in is a short update your breeder asks for on a schedule (for example, monthly or quarterly). You answer a few questions about your dog and can attach photos or records.
- What documents should I keep here?
- Vaccination records, vet visit summaries, insurance, and similar paperwork. Keeping them in your guardian home means your breeder has what they need without back-and-forth.
Help
- I have more than one dog with a breeder. Will I see them all?
- Yes. Sign in once and every placement tied to your email appears together.
- Who do I contact with a question?
- Reach your breeder first for anything about your specific agreement or dog. For trouble signing in or using the site, email support@spaysecure.com.
